Prelude in A Major (Op. 28 No. 7) piano sheet music
The Prelude in A major lasts sixteen bars, a quiet mazurka built from one rhythm repeated eight times. The original score fits on one page and is often the first Chopin piece a student learns. Let the dotted rhythm lean on the second beat, as a mazurka should, and hold the pedal through each pair of bars.
