Sakura Sakura sheet music

The intermediate arrangement keeps the traditional melody in its pentatonic miyako-bushi scale, the source of its distinctly Japanese sound. The tune is stated plainly first, then harmonised with rolled chords in the second half. Play it slowly and evenly. The melody works because of its space, so let each phrase end before the next begins.
